Call for Papers:

In our contemporary world, economic, political, cultural and environmental systems are characterized by a series of crises: economic crises; liberal democracy crises; identity crises; legitimacy crises; ecological crises… ‘Trust’ is the keyword in the age of crisis; one hardly finds though seeking everywhere. The citizens do not trust their governments and governments do not trust their citizens; customers do not trust corporations; individuals do not other individuals or wider collectivities. Ambivalence and uncertainty are the defining feature of relations between individuals, governments and corporations.

For many, trust is one of the key elements in building, maintaining and managing a good and sound reputation. This is why establishing and maintaining meaningful relations with stakeholders is at the heart of contemporary public relations and wider communication efforts. In the age of crisis, questions regarding reputation and trust are more important and urgent than ever: for nations, corporations and citizens alike.

The 5th International Reputation Management Conference aims to bring together academic and corporate professionals to explore reputation within a multidisciplinary framework drawing insights from a number of research fields including communication, public relations, politics, public administration, international relations, business management, human resources, new media, marketing, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. We hope that this conference will ignite much needed fresh thinking on reputation management among various disciplines.
